The Body Shop Shea Body Butter Review:
Formulated with shea butter, cocoa butter, and nourishing babassu oil, The Body Shop shea body butter comes in a very sturdy plastic tub with a screw open lid. I got the butter as a part of a gift set but the actual product quantity is about 200 ml and comes in a bigger tub. The butter itself looks quite rich and creamy when you open the tub. Unlike other body butters from the brand, you are not hit with a very strong artificial fragrance right when you open the tub.
The body butter is suited for very dry skin and is apt for the winters. It promises up to 48 hours of hydration and has a nutty scent which is very soothing. The texture of the butter is really soft and it absorbs right into your skin. It can be a bit heavy for summers so you can choose to use it during the colder seasons.

The rich texture would normally mean that it would make the skin feel greasy but this is not the case with this body butter. It nourishes the skin without feeling heavy or oily. The Tub packaging is a bit unhygienic but I use a wooden spoon i got with Kama Ayurveda Lavanya plant mask to take out the butter.
When it comes to price, The Body shop shea body butter is a bit expensive but the quantity is great and the nourishing formula makes it worth the high price. From all the three body butters I have tried, this is definitely the best Body Shop body butter I have tried.
