After two not so pleasant encounters with Plum, here is one product which I think is a winner if you have oily or combination skin. I bought the Plum Green Tea Renewed Clarity Night Gel as I ran out of The Face Shop First Therapy Serum. I wanted to try something light and cool for the summers.
Packaging & Ingredients:
The gel comes in a bulky glass jar with a plastic lid. There is an inner lid inside to prevent the product from spillage. The Gel itself has a faint green color and feels like aloe vera gel on usage which seems fair as the main ingredients of the gel are aloe vera gel, green tea leaf extract, and argan oil. It also contains licorice root extract, goji fruit extract, glycolic acid, willow bark extract, and gingko biloba extract.
The texture of the gel is quite lightweight and it absorbs well into the skin in just a few seconds. It does feel cool on my skin. I have combination skin type and this gel worked well for me in summers when every other cream felt heavy on the skin. My skin looked fresh and supple in the morning after I used this gel quite religiously for a few weeks.
Regarding the fragrance, the Plum green tea renewed clarity night gel has a nice and soothing fragrance. It is a pleasant surprise as the day cream from the same brand reeked of heavy artificial fragrances. It is a not a great pick for people with dry skin as it is not as moisturizing but for people with combination to oily skin, this gel is a good investment.
Price & Quantity:
The quantity of the gel is a little debatable as it costs around 575 INR for 50 ml of gel. One jar lasts for about a month or two if you use it daily at night.
So this was our review of the Plum Green Tea Renewed Clarity Night Gel which is light on the skin and gives good results if you use it regularly. It is a good option for people with oily skin who need something lightweight which does not break them out.
