I am sure you guys must be neck deep in this festive madness and i have got the perfect accompaniment for a radiant gorgeous look for the wedding functions. We Indians are obsessed with gold and what better than a gold-toned highlighter from the gods of Highlighters-Benefit Cosmetics! If you are looking for a gold highlighter for special ocassions, this benefit watt’s up review is for you.
I have all the 3 highlighters that Benefit offers- Champagne toned Girl Meets Pearl, Silver toned High Beam and now Gold toned Watt’s Up! While I love the other two equally, this one is more suited to Indian Skin tones because of the gold undertone. Scroll down to read the benefit watt’s up review.
Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter comes in a “Quirky” packaging like all benefit products with a cap and twist open product packaging. It is a soft focus highlighter which is perfect because you can never go over the top by mistake. It is cream to powder finish. You can use it on the high cheeks or bridge of the nose for that soft highlighted effect. It is not very shimmery but has that bronzed tone which will suit our Indian skin tones perfectly. The texture is very smooth and not gritty at all which makes it easy to blend. I also use it under my brows and in the inner corners of my eyes to give that awake look. The staying power is commendable with 8-9 hours of wear and it gets easily removed with makeup remover. Perfect for that subtle radiant look.
Overall, out of the 3 highlighters that Benefit offers, this one is my favorite for Indian skin tones and this benefit watt’s up review will prove my love for this highlighter!
