MAC Dark Diversion Fluid Line – Review & Swatches

Usually i don’t invest too much on eye-liners. Especially coloured eye liners.  I get bored with the colours too soon and they don’t get used that often as my office is not too much welcoming on coloured liners! But when i saw this at a blog sale, i just had to buy it. The gorgeous royal violet was just too beautiful to ignore and i have always heard great things about the quality of MAC Fluid lines.

MAC Dark Diversion Fluid line is a blackened plum gel liner( Limited Edition). It comes in a rather bulky glass packaging but i love hoe classy the product looks. The texture is next to butter and so super smooth. It applies beautifully with a gel liner brush. The colour is a dark burgundy plum which will look amazing on fair skin tones. If you are bored of black liners but still not quite into bright coloured liners, this is the perfect shade to start! The staying power is impressive with almost 10 hours of wear without any fading. One thing i want to tell you that this particular shade did not go too well on the waterline and i ended up with red eyes after sometime. There was no such problem wearing it on the upper lash line.

I have to say, this is the best texture i have come across in gel liners. So creamy and smooth. The colour is gorgeous and a change from the usual black liners. I wish it came with a brush but i am being too greedy :P. MAC should make this permanent because i would hate to run out of this! I cant comment on how it performs on the waterline.
